Vered Lamm Naon

From an early age, I felt that we only access a small part of our enormous human potential. Growing up, I developed curiosity about how our inner worlds function and how habits, conditioning, and automatic patterns influence our experience, often causing unnecessary struggles. My life’s journey has been dedicated to breaking free from these limitations. Throughout this process, I have gathered tools, practices, and insights that now form the foundation of my work with others.
  • I started my academic path in the sciences, studying Genetic Engineering at UC San Francisco (UCSF). Over time, my focus shifted to understanding the human mind and decision-making. This led me to study Psychology and Communication at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Afterwards, I trained in group facilitation at Tel Aviv University.

  • I earned a master’s degree in the Study of Religions, with a thesis on the early Buddhist text Abhidhamma, which examines the full spectrum of consciousness and how different states interact.
Additionally, I received meditation training at IDR Ltd.

  • My professional career began in journalism, with roles at Kol HaIr, Hadashot, and Haaretz. I later transitioned into public relations and strategic communications, serving as the first spokesperson for the Israel Democracy Institute and as spokesperson for the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. My work expanded into communication consulting, speechwriting, and ghost-writing for Members of Knesset, ministers, and leading CEOs.

In the next chapter, I founded a marketing and organizational communications firm that collaborated with major Israeli institutions and companies, including the Israel Electric Corporation, Haifa Port, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and the Israeli Center for Libraries. After ten years, this firm formed the foundation of a new organizational communications division at Arad Communications, one of Israel’s leading strategic consulting firms.

  • For over thirty-five years, I have practiced meditation, mainly within the Vipassana tradition. I have incorporated mindfulness into my work for more than a decade, applying its principles both in personal practice and when guiding others. I was introduced to the method by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn. I also studied Byron Katie’s inquiry method at her school in California and, for nearly twenty years, have been facilitating this work with individuals in Israel and abroad.

  • Today, I facilitate group processes and offer one-on-one support, combining mindfulness, inquiry techniques, and tools from my management and organizational development background. I see this work as a calling. I’ve been fortunate to work with courageous individuals who have taught me a lot and have experienced meaningful transformations, often in surprisingly short times.

  • I reside in Tel Aviv with my husband and our twin boys.
